I have been speeding through assignments left and right tonight. Just as a humble brag, I have done five assignments tonight (After getting off work at nine), and this will be my sixth?
Why in such a hurry you may ask? Well, I have a big procrastination problem. I always get my assignments done on time for the most part however. What makes me procrastinate the most? I tend to be attached to my phone- and this show on Hulu called This is Us. In fact, I promised myself that I can totally binge watch the rest of the first season if I would just finish this pile of assignments I need to finish.
Last night, I was washing the dishes when I knocked my beloved iPhone SE into the sink. While this phone was tough as a brick, it was no match for the soapy hot water that infiltrated it. Now it is literally a brick. Today I had to go spend two hours at Verizon. The store manager was an angel, and truly had the best customer service. I promise the two hour wait was not her fault. I ended getting a much needed upgrade: the iPhone XR. The iPhone XR came out in October 2018, so to me it is still fairly new.
The fact that I am known for having outdated phone is beside the point.
I love this new phone. I actually spent a good hour feeling very old and dumb because I could not figure it out. Everything is so different, but still so classically Apple. First of all, there's no home button. AND no headphone jack. ALSO the iPhone XR does not come with a dongle. In case you don't know what a dongle is here is a picture:
It is basically an adapter for a headphone jack.
I picked out a red iPhone XR. I originally wanted yellow, but I feel good because part of the pretty penny that I spent on this phone is going towards AID and HIV relief. I absolutely adore this phone. The screen is huge, which is something I am not used to, but lets talk about the camera. The camera is for me, amazing.
I don't know all the techy words to describe this phone so I'm going to leave this graphic here:
The battery life on this thing I can already tell is great. I know you're probably thinking, there's already a newer phone on the market; Why didn't you get that one? Well, the Iphone XR and the iPHone XS is practically the same thing. (the iPhone XS has an even better camera though), but the iPhone XR is significantly cheaper. So whether you're frugal or just in college like me, the iPhone XR is the obvious choice if you're looking to upgrade your apple product.
